Stickies are small, paper-based animated labels used to record information or instructions on a piece of paper, glass or other media. They are best used as an easy way to record information or instructions on the go, without having to take out a pen and paper, or a notepad and make several versions of a similar note, as often found in meeting rooms. As such, stickies have become an increasingly popular component of many mobile and tablet devices, allowing business owners and teachers to take notes quickly and easily. DESCRIPTION. Stickies is simple, lightweight, sticky note application software which enables you to quickly and easily place virtual sticky notes directly onto your display: once on display, stickies will stay where you put them until closed. The main view of the application has the basic background image and label border, with several small, solid-colored stripes running around the image. Styles and colors can be customised: bold, solid, gradient, or transparent - the choice is entirely up to you.
FUNCTIONS. As with most applications, there are only a handful of truly useful functions offered by Stickies. The main action is to write new notes, enter data, delete previous notes and edit existing ones. There is also a special, advanced menu that offers a variety of extra actions. One of those actions is the ability to "pin" a note - if you hold down the shift key while writing a new note, it will be written into that position. There are also a few other actions related to writing notes: you can draw or type your name on a label, move the label, highlight a word or term, etc.
